Products
Colour: We aim to produce a accurate image of the colours of our products on the website but please be aware that there could be a variation in shade between the reproduction on your pc, printer and the actual produce. We supply samples of our carpets and vinyl’s to help with colour matching and most of our products can be seen in our wisbech store.
The samples and illustrations we use are intended to give a general example of the colours and patterns of the products. When the products are fitted to a larger area some of the patterns and random blends of yarn can have a striped effect or mottled look than the sample or images.
Exact colour matching between separate cut pieces of carpet and vinyl and between various widths of rolls can not be guaranteed.
Size
All carpets and vinyl’s are cut and sold to the nearest 10cm in length with a minimum order length of 50cm. The actual width of a carpet or vinyl roll may vary with tolerance of plus or minus 1.25% in accordance with British Standard BS3655. This can mean a difference of 5cm on a 4 metre wide roll. Because of this, it is worth considering if you need to allow more material for a join.
Quality
We are highly confident that the products we sell are of the best quality.
The carpets we sell are soft, luxurious products and flattening of the pile will happen as a natural result of use. This can appear randomly, although areas of heavier use or where foot traffic and twists and turns (i.e. stairs) can be especially prone.
The sides of the pile can have a slightly different shade in colour to the ends and so any change in angle or direction of the pile may change the colour of the carpet and this may be patchy. Such changes do not change the durability of the carpet.
During transportation and storage pile may become slightly flattened and this may show as shaded bands across the pile. These will disappear as the carpet settles in to its new environment and as the pile is moves through use and hovering.
We always advice that a good quality underlay be used, using a inferior underlay will effect the wear and tear of your new carpet.
Your Order: When you place a order online with ourselves you are inviting us to enter into a contract with you to supply the products you have selected at the price shown on the website and in your order receipt. When we have received your order we will either call or email you back with an acknowledgement to confirm that we have received your order and confirm with you what was ordered. Then your order will be dealt with by our sales team to process.
We try our hardest to ensure that all our website prices and descriptions are correct and up to date but on the odd occasion it is possible for errors to occur. If this is the case our sales team will contact you to notify you of the error and will give you the option to proceed with the order with the correct changes made or to cancel your order and get a full refund. If we don’t receive and answer within seven days of notification then we will automatically cancel the order and issue a full refund.
Your order is a legally binding contract after your purchase has been despatched. You may change or cancel your order at anytime up to this point, but please see our “Cancellations and Refunds” page for more information about your full cancellation rights.
Cancellation and Returns Policy: The consumer protection(distance selling) Regulations 2000 (as amended 2005)
By buying over the internet or by telephone you are entering into a “Distance Sale”. As well as your normal statutory rights as a consumer you also have the right to cancel the contract at any time up to 7days after the date has been delivered to you. This right does NOT apply to any materials specifically cut to your specifications and this includes floor coverings which have been cut from a roll to your specific order size. If your order has not been cut and you wish to cancel your order please contact us on: 01945 585885.
If the materials are excluded from your right to cancel we will find out whether or not they have been cut to your specifications and if we will accept the cancellation of your order and refund your money. If however the goods have been cut for you we will only accept your cancellation if we may deduct a percentage of the purchase price from the refund we issue to you to cover the losses we will incur in selling your goods as a reduced price remnant in our store.
When the goods have been delivered to you, you have a reasonable amount of time to make sure that they are the goods you ordered. If in the unfortunate event that they are not, you should not cut, fit or use them( other than to check whether or not they are the correct goods). You should keep the packaging so that this can be used, if possible for there return. You will be responsible for the condition of the goods and for their reasonable care whilst they are in your possession. We will arrange for the collection of the goods without charge to you and a full refund of the purchase price.
After the statutory 7days “cooling off” period, you are fully protected by your statutory rights.
